Starr Hill Brewery and the Crozet Jam Band are excited to present: a Tribute to Linda Ronstadt.
A benefit concert for the Parkinson's Foundation
Sunday, December 8 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
Starr Hill Brewery
5391 Three Notch'd Rd, Crozet, VA 22932
For those who are familiar with Linda Ronstadt's singing or have seen her recent documentary, The Sound of My Voice, you know that Linda had one of the most remarkable voices of all time. In 2009, she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (PD). Parkinson's is a neurodegenerative disease that affects movement, speech, and even singing voices. The disease robbed her of her voice, and continues to impact her quality of life to this day.
Parkinson's disease (PD) currently affects nearly one million Americans, and 60,000 are diagnosed each year. Approximately 19,000 Virginians live with PD including friends and family in our local community. Together, we can keep her music alive by coming together and singing while donating funds to improve care and advance research toward a cure.
Join us at Starr Hill Brewery in Crozet, Virginia on December 8 to help pay tribute to Linda Ronstadt and others with Parkinson's disease so we can raise our voices in unison to support a cure!
