Born and raised in the City of Pompano Beach FL, I attended Broward Community College and studied Criminal Justice. I am the first young African American woman to purchase a commercial property located in Pompano Beach and I didnt do it for myself, but every move I've made since being in operation at The City Church Resource Center as the Pastor and Director of Programs, has been to support the community. My passion has always been geared towards helping others to become self-sufficient, while restoring their livelihoods because I know what it looks like to stare difficulties in the face without having a way of escape through hard times. My dream and my vision is to give back to the people of our community; while creating community stability. I believe in the standards of Holiness and Truth. I try my best to teach and preach holiness and upright righteous living. In a little over 5 years that the City Church has been standing in the gap on behalf of the community; we have made a tremendous impact and touched the lives of many in which our footwork shows for itself. We established the very first flocka walk where the City of Pompano Beach City Officials and crowds gathered in unity with the hopes to create subvention programs to help families of all walks of life along with many other programs including “The Stopping Point”, a direct response to the growing number of young people within the district. In December 2016, City Church partnered with the City Officials once again to assist in giving back to families in need. September 10, 2016 The City Church Resource Center opened The City Business Resource Center LLC customer service call center to implement jobs for the homeless. In January of 2017, we opened The City Inspirational T-Shirt and Graphics Design Company right in the heart of Pompano to assist residents and create opportunities for the residents within the community to become self-sufficient. In 2019, the 4th call center was opened to the community, creating more jobs and helping more families to become self-sufficient. Some of our future endeavors includes opening a restaurant that will be open to the community but most of all open to provide free meals to the homeless. With that being said, so that we may continue to be of assistance and a helping hand to the community, family and friends; we are reaching out to you for your help in assisting with meeting our goal for beautifying the building fund. There has been a tremendous amount of work completed, but we still have a ways to go to meet all codes for the ENTIRE BUILDING so no seed of love is too big nor too small and we are grateful for them all. Our goal is to raise a total of $20,000 to meet all code regulations to keep the building up and running so that our community may have a place to not only fellowship, but a place of stability that carries out opportunities for the people. We need money to help to get the ENTIRE BUILDING up to code. Please don't allow our standing and fighting for the community to be in vain because The City is on us! We thank you all again for coming together in unity to help us get the job done. It has been quite a journey, but we are grateful for your continuance support. May God Bless you all!
