-A Public-Private Partnership between Citipointe Church and Betta Gumbo Cares, will provide access to free ready-to-eat hot meals for those that need it most.
-Just a $10 donation will feed four people in need in the Northern Colorado Community
- If you need food and cannot afford it, the Partnership will get you and your family a meal, no questions asked.
- Meals can be accessed Monday through Wednesday, from 11 am to 3pm at Betta Gumbo in Downtown Loveland.
- 1 in 10 Coloradoans struggle with hunger and access to food.
Citipointe Church Northern Colorado is a non-denominational church that serves the Loveland, Windsor, Fort Collins area with a mission to unmistakably influence people for good and for God. Betta Gumbo Cares is the philanthropic arm of Betta Gumbo Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown Loveland, Colorado. Betta Gumbo Cares mission is to impact a life one meal and one act of kindness at a time and has recognized the ever-growing need to feed people in the local community.
The COVID pandemic has created a drastic increase in temporary and permanent unemployment, which has led to a dramatic increase in food insecurity and problems with access to food for many in the community. Betta Gumbo Cares & Citipointe Church are coming together as one to help where we can. Many are subject to hunger. With this partnership, we are rising to show them they are not invisible and there is hope!
