Sigma Kappa is hosting a Fall Festival benefitting Circle of Sisterhood. There will be a Kenra Scott popup shop, desserts, a hot chocolate bar, pumpkin painting, and more!
Circle of Sisterhood is the official philanthropy of UF Panhellenic. The Circle of Sisterhood Foundation empowers Panhellenic women to impact the lives of women and girls across the globe through the power of education. Through financial resources, Circle of Sisterhood helps remove barriers to education for girls who face poverty and oppression. By providing the funds and labor to build schools in developing communities, Circle of Sisterhood strives to promote education and schooling for women in order to break the cycle of poverty.
Since joining Circle of Sisterhood, the University of Florida has helped fund two schools for communities in need. This past summer, members of the UF Panhellenic community participated in a COS trek to Senegal, Africa to assist with the groundbreaking of a school in the village Touba Mboufta. Not only was UF Panhellenic able to financially support this school, but these members were also able to assist with the physical labor of building it. Sigma Kappa is proud to have had four sisters participate on this trek and we are so excited to continue supporting such a great cause.
