Help us support our members during this time of need.
Our members are just like people in your family who every day are struggling to get by during COVID-19. Our members struggle to find toilet paper just like you, but imagine their added challenge to find food for a child with an intellectual and developmental disability who because of their disability is not tolerant to changes in brands or foods. For these members, sometimes getting food from the foodbank won't feed these children because these children won't recognize different brands of food from the foodbank as food. If you don't have a child with an intellectual and developmental disability, this isn't a discipline issue, it's a very real disability concern. For these children and for others in the community, our members are their everyday heroes as parents struggle to find the brand and flavor that their child recognizes as food. Even with free food from food banks, our members still need help just to buy groceries to feed their children with intellectual and developmental disabilities who they love very deeply.
We kindly ask that you join us in supporting our members. Your gift will help provide immediate financial support so they can purchase essential food, medicines, and other supplies. Help keep our members safe and healthy because there is a child who is counting on them. During this time of year with no gatherings allowed, we ask you to Cinco de Mayo with The Arc of El Paso, a virtual celebration of food and heritage, by helping us give the gift of food. Will you help our families celebrate by donating at least $10 today?
