Community Partnerships & Associates Day Program continues to provide safe, person-centered services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As our program has navigated and developed alternative services to ensure our participants receive meaningful, quality services, we have found many people enjoying and benefiting from Zoom groups and classes. These services offer a way for people to continue the lifelong learning experience as well as maintain social connections with friends during this time. They will help keep us connected during the colder months as well if we can't do as many outdoor activities.
Due to funding challenges, especially with retainer payments being cut, access to resources to be able to provide the best services has become a challenge! Here's where you can help! We are trying to raise money to purchase Chromebooks to use with participants while providing alternative, community, and base site services. With this technology, we can reach more people, and help ensure that our amazing day program participants are not just surviving during this pandemic, but that they are thriving and enjoying life.
