We are on a mission...to keep Christine Loeber's bright light shining! "Loeber," as she was fondly known to friends everywhere, left a wake of smiles and joy wherever she went. Christine was a social worker who had dedicated her life to helping others. Originally from Easton, Massachusetts, she was serving as Executive Director of The Pathway Home in Yountville, CA at the time when a difficult tragedy shook the program.
On March 9, 2018, her life, along with the lives of two of her co-workers, was taken by a veteran with PTSD. This tragedy has had far reaching impacts on the veterans community as a whole, the state of California, and of course on Christine's friends and family.
In the fall of 2018, out of this tragedy a hope was born in the form of the Christine M. Loeber Foundation. The Foundation supports programs for veterans, homeless veterans and other wellness related programs that Christine would have wholeheartedly supported (and did support) while she was with us.
Team Loeber is running the Falmouth Road Race to raise funds to support these programs, as we ll as a scholarship in her name at Oliver Ames High School in North Easton, MA.
We welcome you to visit our website at christinemloeberfoundation.org to learn more about the programs we are supporting, and we invite you to donate to help support these programs and our mission.
We thank you for your support and for helping Team Loeber to keep Christine's bright light shining!
