Please join me in supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County as I participate in the 2020 Villara Capital Cup.
Now, more than ever, the Boys & Girls Club needs your support to continue its good work in our community. Since the start of this pandemic, the Club has taken on additional programs to support its members and families. For example, the Club has donated more than 20,000 lbs of food to members and developed Virtual Developmental Programs keeping kids and family’s engaged with the Club. These programs come at an unexpected cost and are a critical part of keeping our next generation on the path to success.
Currently, the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County serves 1,400 kids aged 6 - 18 years old in three Placer County locations. Children’s lives and routines have been disrupted by the pandemic and the Boys & Girls Club aims to be a calm in the storm. Your support will help fund critical programing such as Education & Career Development, Character & Leadership, Health & Life Skills, Sports, Fitness & Recreation and the Arts.
The Villara Capital Cup (9/25-9/27/20) adapts the historic Ryder Cup format—steeped in tradition—to promote community pride, healthy competition, and raise money for the Sacramento region’s most deserving charities.
Each year, leaders from the Sacramento region are divided into two teams for an exciting 3-day golf competition. Donors will have the opportunity to support their favorite player (or their favorite charity), as each player is competing to benefit his or her favorite charitable organization. The winning team's designated charities share a prize fund of $200,000!
