Children's Hunger Fund works to "deliver hope to suffering children by equipping local churches for gospel-centered mercy ministry." They do an incredible job not only addressing the physical needs of those suffering from poverty but also forming long term relationships through local churches to provide eternal hope through the gospel. Children's Hunger Fund (CHF) impacts communities in over 25 countries and throughout the US through their strategy to F.A.C.E. poverty: Feed, Aid, Connect and Equip. While in California this summer, we took a tour at their new Poverty Encounter which educates how child poverty can stem from generational poverty, natural disaster, modern day slavery like bonded labor or loss like orphans. We highly recommend for anyone in southern California to check out their tour, which is now offered virtually for those out of state!
