I am so proud to be a charity runner for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. I am running in honor of my friend's son, and my own son, both of whom have a rare genetic condition called 47,XYY. There is not much research on this condition, and thankfully, it's very mild and most boys are asymptomatic.
However, that's not always the case. Have you watched Lily's story? She has received care from Center for Rare Disease Therapy at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Beautiful, smart children like my son, my friend's son, and Lily are why I am running the 2019 Steel Challenge.
Help me support Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh by donating today. My minimum goal is $1500 - let's do everything we can for these children!
