The story behind our campaign is the same story everyone is currently living--as the coronavirus continues to spread, people are getting sick, losing their jobs, and going weeks without seeing loved ones. But at the same time, educators are finding new ways to reach their students, friends are finding new ways to stay connected, and healthcare workers are risking their lives to help those affected. Even when things are at their darkest, there's always hope to be found. And right now, it's important that everyone hold onto that hope. Especially children.
If you're looking for something to read to your children and want to help a worthy cause, please check out the link to our book Tomorrow. This book was created by several artists, healthcare workers, educators, parents, and others who wanted to validate children's feelings about COVID-19 while simultaneously offering hope for the future. Tomorrow is completely free, but we're also accepting donations to the CDC Foundation, which is helping lead the fight against this sickness. Please consider sharing the PDF and audio links with anyone who might benefit. All donations are also appreciated and go directly to the CDC Foundation.
Right now is a scary time. Children may feel alone and confused, and they might worry that the pandemic will never end. But tomorrow is on the horizon. We're here for each other today. And together, we can help create a new and better normal.
