Running has been a passion of mine for almost 20 years. When I can combine that passion with raising awareness and funds to help others affected by cancer, it’s even more rewarding.
Better yet, I am filled with joy when I can share this passion with my daughter, Madisen. It’s amazing to see that she can help contribute to bettering others’ lives while doing something she loves too.
Madisen and I are members of the Imerman Angels, and are dedicating our miles and muscles to provide personalized connections that enable one-on-one support among cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers.
Madisen and I have both have lost loved ones to cancer and my mother is a survivor. We run for those who lost the battle and those who are still fighting. Support the fight against cancer, today! Every dollar helps.
Here is how you can help today:
Any donation that you provide will help to improve the lives of individuals and families, and further relationships giving cancer fighter or caregiver the chance to ask personal questions and get support from someone who has been there before.
Mentor Angels can lend support and empathy and help cancer fighters and caregivers navigate the system, determine their options and create their own support systems. Frequently, caregivers experience feelings similar to those of the person facing cancer. Mentor Angels can relate while being sensitive to the experience and situation.
