On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Team Chicago Lights will be participating in the 43rd running of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon!
The team is made up of a diverse group of fitness enthusiasts that have committed to supporting Chicago Lights' five outreach programs by training as a team, building community, and raising awareness and funds for the organization.
What's Chicago Lights?!
Our mission is to build brighter futures for Chicago's youth and adults through supportive relationships and life-changing programs. We do this by providing creative youth development and social services that help people build the skills they need to transcend the challenges of poverty and lead fulfilling lives.
Donations in support of the team directly benefit the five community outreach programs of Chicago Lights (Tutoring, Urban Farm, Summer Day, Dance Academy, and Social Service Center).
Here are a few examples of how your donation impacts Chicago Lights:
$25 Donation - Will provide three bags of high- quality protein for patrons of the Social Service Center’s Consumer Choice Food Pantry.
$50 Donation - Will provide classroom supplies for Summer Day students.
$100 Donation - Will provide attire for Dance Academy students.
$200 Donation - Will provide 25 books for the Tutoring library.
$500 Donation - Will provide supplies for Urban Farm high school interns.
$1,000 Donation - Will provide housing fees for a Social Service Center guest.
