As Templar Knights it is our duty to not only protect Christians and Christian values but to also spread the Light of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As before, during the past 900 years, today too Templers ask for the community to take part in a mission that is called to spread the teachings of the Holly Bible and keep the light of Christ lit in the lives and hearts of all children of God.
Saint Bartholomew Commandery of the Knights Templar of North America-OPCCTS has established the Cherish a Parish Foundation whose mission is to provide financial, logistical and spiritual support to Christian communities where, due to geographical, economical and geopolitical reasons it is a challenge for Perishes to sustain and support clergy. In cooperation with the Western Diocese we are working to realize the project in Armenia the first Christian nation in the world. Ten parishes are included in the pilot program. Succession of the project will ensure the expansion of it globally.
By your donation you will extend a helping hand to cherish a parish and it parishioners. You will help a parish to be able to self sustain and provide means for their parish priest. Your contribution will ensure a functional Saturday or Sunday schools, it will make possible for Bible study and other Christian educational programs in these perishes where otherwise would be not possible.
With every dollar donated another Church another Parish will get a chance to survive and thrive.
