Cheeseburger Day 2018
My name is Billy Davis. And on May 19th, 2012 I was in a motorcycle accident that took my leg. After 11 hours of surgery and five days in a coma I woke up and enthusiastically asked for a "CheeseBurger and a Coke!" And that's how CheeseBurger Day was born. For the past couple of years I've used the anniversary of my accident as an opportunity to raise money and awareness for other amputees via Wiggle Your Toes. (www.wiggleyourtoes.org). Each year I ask people to donate the cost of a Cheeseburger ($20 or whatever you're comfortable with) to WYT as I prepare for the New York City Triathlon with the rest of Team Wiggle. My goal this year is $25K! WYT saved my life. By providing funds for a prosthetic leg, they helped me get back to my normal. Having a good prosthetic allowed me to regain more than just my physical self. It helped me to heal my soul. And so I choose to pay it forward. I choose to Touch, Move, and Inspire others. As a fitness entrepreneur I coach, train, and support others all around the world to take on healthier lifestyles. So I'm asking YOU to help ME as I raise money and awareness for Wiggle Your Toes! Thank YOU for Your Support! Billy D.
