As many of you know, our son Chase was born with Clubfoot. It has been a journey so far, and that journey isn't over yet. When I found out from my 20-week ultrasound that he would be born with this common birth anomaly (I don't like the word defect), I researched and found out that MANY children across the globe don't have access to treatment for this condition. As Chase continues to improve, other children will suffer. These children face incredible hurdles their whole lives. Along with stigma and discrimination, they are often left alone and hidden away because the family is ashamed. Because walking is so difficult, they are among the least likely to enjoy the benefits of education and healthcare. Even worse, children with clubfoot are subject to higher risks of neglect, poverty, physical, and sexual abuse.
But there is hope. The MiracleFeet organization increases access to proper treatment for these children. and for every $250 we raise, we can pay for one child’s full Clubfoot treatment and change their life forever!
Our goal is to raise $1,000 this year and help 4 children walk through life. PLEASE HELP US reach our goal and JOIN US (or consider donating if you can’t make it)- for fun and prizes.
We will be hosting an 18-hole Mini-golf tournament @ Buc's Lagoon on June 3rd @4pm. Winner receives $100 cash prize, and the winning team gets a “Shipwreck Sundae” (it’s huge and has everything, ok!:)
Option 1: Donation of $20 Tournament Entry will buy a Clubfoot brace for one child. You receive two raffle entries.
Option 2: Donation of $50 provides casting materials, one brace for a child, and you receive 10 raffle entries.
