Charley Baker was a very talented musician here in Jackson Tn. Charley owned Baker Guitar Studios in Jackson and had hundreds of students that took guitar lessons from him. Charley played in several bands over the years and has helped so many people in West TN though his music and his kind caring spirit. Charley was never sick or had any idea he had cancer until he got sick. Charley found out that he had cancer in several areas and that it had been there for several years. Charley lost his battle with cancer within less than two months of finding out he had it. His message left to all of us is simply this: Live life everyday and enjoy it, most of all, be good to each other. Charley was good to everyone he met and would help you in any way he could if you were in need. He was kind and calm and everybody loved Charley. He was not just a music teacher/guitar instructor, he was a generous man who loved to see people smile and be happy in their lives. His loving wife, Babs, was blessed to have him in her life and her message through Charley is EARLY DETECTION!! If you knew Charley personally he would tell you today to go get checked out and make sure you're ok. Ask your doctor to check you for cancer even if you feel fine. Charley felt fine and was not sick until it was too late. Get checked out for Charley.
