Charles Lobban, a devoted son, loyal friend, loving husband and father to two daughters, Charlotte and Francesca, sadly passed away from an unexpected out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrest at his home.
Charles, a true romantic at heart brought his wife, Trudie Lobban, breakfast in bed. Upon leaving the room he said, ‘I am going to faint’ and without warning collapsed onto the floor. Emergency Services were contacted and Charles received immediate CPR plus the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Sadly Charles could not be saved on that fateful day, however, we can ensure his memory lives on.
Charles was a keen golfer, who frequently played the picturesque courses of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; which fittingly became his final resting place.
All donations from this fundraiser will be dedicated towards the placement of the first Charles Lobban AED, within a deserving local community. This life-saving device will be placed in dedication to Charles and as a reminder that we should all continue to work together to ensure that our local community remains HeartSafe.
