Let me start off by telling you about the charity. I’m Running a stream for Parkinson’s Disease. For those that don‘t know what Parkinson’s is, i‘ll tell you.
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a chronic and progressive disease of the central nervous system, meaning the symptoms will continue and worsen over time. Approximately 1–1.5 million people in the United States currently have PD. It is estimated that approximately 60,000 Americans are diagnosed with PD each year. The disease is sometimes called idiopathicParkinson's, because the exact cause is not known. However, many Parkinson's symptoms are believed to result from a lack of dopamine, one of the brain's chemical messengers. Without enough dopamine, the neurons (nerve cells in the brain) that control movement can't function properly. This makes it difficult for people with Parkinson's to move normally. Symptoms may vary from person to person.. my dad had Parkinson’s disease and it affected him greatly with not being able to keep his hands still and be frustrated a lot of the time due to no having that freedom of still hands and patience. Parkinson’s didn’t kill my dad but it didn’t help him any when his time did come. I wanted to share this with you all because, not having a dad after 16 was and still is harder than I was ever able to imagine. So I ask if you would kindly donate it would mean the world to me and help others. Even if you can’t. Sharing this to let more people know about Parkinson’s Disease would help others and is spreading awareness Thank you!
