Story
What is Agami Chess Guild?

Agami Chess Guild (ACG) is Agami’s investment in building a sustainable platform to foster cognitive, intellectual, and social development of the low-income and disadvantaged youth through chess education and providing a framework for success in school and life.   Our chess program will teach underprivileged children competitive chess.  This program is developed by International Master Abu Sufian Shakil in consultation with GrandMaster Reefat Bin Sattar

After an excruciating lockdown, Agami Chess Guild team with our patron Grand Master Reefat Bin Sattar and advisor International Master Abu Sufian Shakil has come together to host this event with the hopes of relieving our minds from stress by playing a friendly game of chess while supporting a great cause.  As the world is in the middle of the learning crisis, which is exacerbating pre-existing education disparities, ACG (Agami Chess Guild) team is using this opportunity to raise financial support for vulnerable children and youth living in less fortunate conditions and help their cognitive development through the afterschool ACG chess education program.
