This October, Team Jellygish is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of , Misha Collins’ charity and the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt sister organization. Random Acts strives to “conquer the world, one random act of kindness at a time” by empowering people to help each other.
Over the past decade, this 100% volunteer-run organization has taken on ambitious projects like building a children’s center for orphans in Haiti and helping Syrian refugees, but they also help in less high-profile ways that still mean the world to someone, like buying sneakers for a child experiencing homelessness. No matter the size of the project, the central purpose of Random Acts has always been to facilitate kind people helping one another.
So in this moment of historic crisis, we want to pool our resources and build up the fund that empowers you to help those most in need in your communities: the General Fund. The Random Acts General Fund supports a wide variety of Random Acts projects, including the Acts Program. The Acts Program empowers anyone in the world to do an act of kindness in their own community.
Maybe you want to help your local animal shelter, an elderly neighbor who needs a new heater before winter, or a family who just needs some groceries to get by. You can apply for an Act to get funding and help them!We know that right now, everybody is struggling and things might get even harder before they even out. So for this Change A Life, we’re pointing our global army for good at Random Acts’ General Fund so we can fund countless acts of kindness around the world — and because you can apply for an Act yourself, this will empower Gishers to help those in need in their own communities.
Join us in celebrating Random Acts’ 10-year anniversary and help our GISH Family & Random Acts to continue to do good for years to come, no matter what the future throws at us. Thank you for your support!
