An opportunity to help metro Denver students feel understood, accepted, and connected
WHAT: A fundraising campaign that supports Challenge Denver in bringing Challenge Day and other social emotional programming to underserved metro Denver schools.
WHEN: April 10th-May 10th
WHY: In metro Denver schools, students increasingly experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and social isolation. Many students feel hopeless and alone. At Challenge Denver, we believe ALL students deserve to feel understood, accepted, and connected. This foundational feeling of belonging is critical for success in school and in life.
Through Challenge Day and other programming, Challenge Denver helps students strengthen self-awareness and build the relationship skills necessary to forge supportive connections with peers and adults. Always, we champion the crucial message:
“We’re not Alone.”
HOW: We seek to raise a minimum of $25,000. That amount, in combination with grant funding, will allow us to continue providing current partner schools with Challenge Day, foundational trauma informed practices trainings, and additional customized social emotional supports.
$35 = Supports ONE STUDENT’S participation in Challenge Day
$150 = Supports a “FAMILY GROUP” (4-5 students) participating in Challenge Day
$500 = Supports ONE TEACHER WORKSHOP on social emotional learning
$1000 = Supports ONGOING SOCIAL EMOTIONAL ENRICHMENTS for students
$3000 = Supports CHALLENGE DAY in one school
$5000 = Supports CHALLENGE DAY AND CUSTOMIZED SUPPORTS in one school
*PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL DONATIONS WILL GO TO CHALLENGE DENVER THROUGH OUR FISCAL SPONSOR, THE COLORADO NONPROFIT DEVELOPMENT CENTER.*
Thank YOU for supporting our students!
