In the most unusual of years with so much uncertainty and need for distancing, our mission to fund cancer research has not wavered.
Uncertain if the Play4TheCure PinkOut games would occur, Chelsea Field Hockey's high school team initiated a Run-A-Thon for Play4theCure in the preseason in July to continue to honor Roxy's fight, as well as the fight of so many friends and family. Together, the team raised $4,365 in one month of running.
Now, masked up and competing in an ever-evolving game schedule, CFH will host a Play4TheCure game day on October 10.
Fundraising for cancer research has been significantly impacted by this year's pandemic. Yet, funds are desperately needed to continue to find cures. Together, with your help and the support of our field hockey and Chelsea community, we hope to raise another $3,000 for cancer research this season.
Donate here or on game day at the gate. All funds raised will go to The National Foundation for Cancer Research.
