CEOs Against Cancer Florida Chapter Fund

The coronavirus pandemic is affecting every community and every family in many ways. Cancer hasn’t stopped during the pandemic, and financial support is needed to help people facing cancer now and in the future.

Our chapter brings together Florida corporate leaders who have a passion for fighting cancer through the workplace. Together, we lend our expertise and resources to help find cures, and prevent and treat cancer. Even in the face of COVID-19, the American Cancer Society is continuing their lifesaving mission while facing significant challenges. As the virus spreads without discrimination, cancer patients are placed in the eye of the storm with unique clinical, social, and financial disadvantages.

In all communities, cancer patients and their caregivers need the American Cancer Society to forge ahead with their work - including research, patient services, information and resource sharing, education, and advocacy. As a public health organization, their first priority is to ensure the immediate safety of staff and volunteers, healthcare partners, and the individuals they serve – especially those currently battling cancer with compromised immune systems. It’s why the Society suspended its busiest special event fundraising season, and is in need of financial support to bridge the resulting funding gap.

People facing cancer need the American Cancer Society now more than ever. Please join us in supporting their mission of saving lives, celebrating lives, and leading the fight for a world without cancer.
