Justin and Michelle Fiew started the first Reboot Combat Recovery course in Pendleton, Indiana last September. Their goal is to help veterans and their families heal from the moral and spiritual wounds associated with service-related trauma by offering this groundbreaking, peer-to-peer trauma healing course which provides a unique blend of clinical insight with faith-based support. Our courses are private, peer-led, inclusive of the entire family, and offered at no cost to participants.
Unfortunately, over 20 veterans complete suicide every day. Many more exist in a depressive state of despair and isolation while contemplating suicide. Our community is not immune and there are over 10,000 veterans in Madison County alone!!
Since launching our first course in September 2019, over 30 veterans, their spouses and family members have completed this 12-week course. We have personally seen marriages saved, isolation broken, and graduates experience a renewed hope for the future. Every member of our team is a combat veteran, or the spouse/family member of a combat veteran, so we have decades of experience regarding the trauma and stress of military and veteran life. Several of our leaders are graduates of this course and volunteer their time to continue serving others.
I’m asking for your help to make sure our community can continue to offer this course to our veterans and their families at no cost to them.
Would you please consider partnering with us through giving?
