What if every classroom were a place of inquiry, imagination, and joy? What if, instead of learning how to memorize facts, students learned how to analyze information and become creative, collaborative problem solvers? What if students enjoyed coming to school, and the challenge of learning something new? At Center for Inspired Teaching, we're on a mission to do just that.
We prepare brand-new teachers and build the practice of veteran teachers so that both educators and students find challenge, joy, and purpose in the work they are doing. Inspired Teaching shifts educators' beliefs about teaching and learning and strengthens their instructional practice. As a result of this support, Inspired Teachers make long-term commitments to the teaching profession.
The funds raised in this challenge will support our Inspired Teaching Residency, which prepares new teachers for careers as engagement-based educators who teach students how to think, not what to think, effectively preparing them to thrive in our world.
Your support is crucial to expanding this program and deepening our individualized support for each participant. Thank you for supporting our goal of ensuring that every student has an Inspired Teacher.
