Cellmates on the Run is the official running team of the Chicago Diabetes Project (CDP) that brings individuals together to achieve a common goal: cure diabetes. When you support the CDP you’ll be raising money to advance diabetes research and a functional cure through islet cell transplants. Together, every mile brings us closer to a functional cure for diabetes. To date we have raised over $1 million to fund life-changing diabetes research. With your help, we’ll be 26.2 miles closer to a cure.
This October will mark my 14th running of the Chicago Marathon and my 25th marathon overall. It's hard to believe that I have been running this race every year since 2006. This November will be my 3rd running of the New York City Marathon. For the past 6 years, I have run for the Chicago Diabetes Project in honor of my cousin Tammy's dad, Jerry.
In 2013, we raised $1165.00 for the Chicago Diabetes Project.
In 2014, we raised even more with $2002.40.
In 2015, we raised even more with $2,745.00.
In 2016, we raised a whopping $3,817.20.
In 2017, we raised $1,917.00
In 2018, we raised $1,200.00
In total, we have raised $12,846.60 in just 6 years.
Beginning on October 13 in Chicago I am running again in honor of Jerry to help find a cure for diabetes.
Please support my fundraising efforts as I run this fall for a cure for diabetes and run in the memory of Jerry.
Love you all,
