Hi friends! As most of you know, I have been living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) for 20+ years. At times living with diabetes can be frustrating, challenging, and outright inconvenient, but with careful management it should never stop anyone living with T1D from living their life and accomplishing their goals.
Also, having a solid support system is extremely important to living a healthy life as a T1D. I've been blessed with amazing parents, siblings, family, friends, doctors, and nutritionists who have supported me in different ways throughout my life. This coming October, myself and my two ROCKSTAR brothers, Bobby and Kevin, will be running with Cellmates on the Run -The Chicago Diabetes Project (description below) to "outrun diabetes" in the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. We are so excited to do this together! Please help us reach our goal! Any donation counts! Thank you :)

Cellmates on the Run is the official running team of the Chicago Diabetes Project (CDP) that brings individuals together to achieve a common goal: cure diabetes. When you support the CDP you’ll be raising money to advance diabetes research and a functional cure through islet cell transplants. Together, every mile brings us closer to a functional cure for diabetes. To date we have raised over $1 million to fund life-changing diabetes research. With your help, we’ll be 26.2 miles closer to a cure.
