CELIAC DISEASE CENTER AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY wrote:
On March 17, 2019 ( St. Patricks Day) Iwill be running my first ever New York City Half Marathon for my daughter, Lilly.
Toward the end of 2018, Lillian was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, and EOE (Eosinophilic Esophagitis) which answered alot of questions for my wife, Diane, and I in regard to what was going on with our little girl. Still new and still learnig about Celiac Disease, the people at Columbia University have been great with guiding us through this new process.
Certainlry going Gluten Free for an active 5 year old is not an easy task, but so far with the literature and help we received, it has been an easier transition, from what we thought.
I am running to rasie donations to continue the research to help education others on Celiac Disease and help guide people through the transition.
Thank you for your Donations, to help with this cause that is very near and dear to my family's heart.
