Because of the Beard
According to wikipedia , many cultures view a beard as central to a man's virility, exemplifying such virtues as wisdom, strength, sexual prowess and high social status. In cultures where facial hair is uncommon (or currently out of fashion), beards may be associated with poor hygiene or an uncivilized, dangerous demeanor. In countries with colder climates, beards help protect the wearer's face from the elements.
With background out of the way let me describe my intentions over the years with perceived bearded persona to match its physical appearance.
I once considered becoming a bearded professional dancer. Not sure how that would have turned out but it still intrigues me to this day.
The Bearded Barista. I enjoy coffee, a lot, the smell, the taste, the process.. no male Barista is complete without a big lush hairy face of trust. Not to mention a big frothy mustache is really attractive.
River Steamboat Captain. With or without steam or a river a captain needs protection from the elements and the undivided attention from his crew. ✔️✔️ beards got you covered.
To shave this majestic symbol of manhood and boundless confidence one must consider what would be worthy of such a sacrifice. After careful consideration I’ve agreed to facial falicular surgery on the ice for one special man who taught me many things about life. A friend and mentor Johnathan Zierdt’s legacy carries on through a fund to make aware, men’s health and specifically cancer in men. Let’s join our wallets and contribute a little or a lot. Make no mistake together we make a difference, I’m betting my beloved beard on it.
Thanks for the giving..
