Dear Family and Friends,
This month marks the third anniversary of Bob's passing. Each year, I find great meaning in doing a fundraiser and walk with our granddaughter Raina to mark Bob's yortzeit.
As we know, giving tzedekah in someone's memory is not only a great tribute to them, but we are doing the mitzva of tikkun olam, making the world a better place.
So the amount you give is truly not as important as the fact that you will be adding your energy and love to our celebration of Bob and his life.
On Sunday, July 15, Raina and I will be walking a five mile marathon to raise money for the Union of Concerned Scientists. We feel certain that Bob would support this group's effort to use "rigorous science to create a healthier planet and a safer world".
Bob was passionate about the great outdoors (photo on the left) and sharing the earth's treasures with Raina ( photo on the right). May we all carry on these values.
