After months of isolation and spending hours staring at screens, kids will need the camp experience more than ever before.
Camp is a safe place where campers....
explore the outdoors,
try new things,
grow in self-esteem,
engage socially with peers,
make new friends,
and grow in their faith.
These type of experiences have been sorely lacking for kids in 2020. The development and growth of this generation depends on places like camp to fill the void in 2021.
For over 60 years, Chestnut Ridge has been a sacred place set apart for kids to learn about God's love in the great outdoors. Campers and staff often say "Camp is the one place I feel that I can truly be myself".
The pandemic took a big financial toll on this small non-profit ministry. We are on track to bring in only 43% of our expected fee revenue this year. This severely impacts our ability to maintain our facilities, retain our staff, and continue providing vital ministry programs. We need your help to close the gap.
Your gift on this #GivingTuesday will help provide camp experiences where campers feel safe, loved, and accepted. Kids need camp more than ever. Please give generously today.
Thank you for your generous support!
