Avenley is so excited to be dancing in Colorado Conservatory of Dance's production of The Nutcracker. She'll be dancing in the roles of Baby Mouse, Party Boy, Little Angel and Bon Bon. When asked what was her favorite thing about CCD she said, "I have so many good friends there."

Your Donation Makes a Difference
What makes CCD truly special isn't only what happens within our studios, where we operate one of the region's preeminent dance training programs for children and adults--it's also the impact we have outside our walls as we bring the arts into the the community.
For every one student who takes classes at CCD's Broomfield home, we bring dance to over 100 children in schools throughout the Denver/Boulder metro area, many of whom belong to historically underserved populations in Title I institutions. This year alone, CCD educational programming will reach over 21,000 children through our Move to Learn partnerships, free after-school ballet, and renowned anti-bullying original ballet touring production.
Additionally, we believe in providing access to dance for those who have not traditionally been welcomed into "typical" studio and performance environments. Our sensory-friendly performances reach hundreds of "guests of honor" each year, offering free and low-cost admission to CCD productions including our legendary "Nutcracker." We are also the home to a thriving program for special needs children known as Ballet Expressions, as well as providing adaptive dance programs throughout the community for dancers with particular special needs.
In other words, your generosity allows us to sustain and expand our mission to literally thousands of young people and their families, to introduce them to the wonder of dance, and to welcome them into our artistic family.
