---------Tough Ruck 2020 ---------
This will be my THIRD year participating in the Tough Ruck and I couldn't be more honored! For the last 2 years I blew my $200 goal out of the water and raised a total of $1,255 ($620 in 2018 and $635 in 2019)! This year I will be rucking as an individual and my goal is to raise $450! I would love to match my previous years to support the families of fallen service member!
As many of you know, I grew up in a big military family. Both my grandfathers served in the armed forces, my mother and father served 20 years each and my brother is now stationed in Norfolk, VA with the US Navy.
In April, I will be participating in a Tough Ruck to support fallen service members, police officers, firefighters and EMTs. A Tough Ruck is a marathon distance race, 26.2 miles, where participants carry 15-30 pounds (“a Ruck”). The Boston Marathon is partnering with this event to raise funds to support the families of these heroes. I am beyond proud to take part and ruck for those who cannot.
