CASA of Travis County speaks up for children who’ve been abused or neglected by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety, a judge appoints a trained volunteer advocate to make independent and informed recommendations in the child’s best interest.
In 2018, CASA of Travis County served 1,811 with 735 active volunteers. By the end of 2019, we will have served a record 2,000 children.
As a CASA volunteer myself, I have dedicated my own time to speak up for a child who needs me. There are hundreds of volunteers like me in our community who have chosen to make a difference in this way. But CASA doesn't yet have the resources to serve all who need us.
Right now, there are more than 500 kids waiting for a volunteer. Will you support my work by donating today? Your gift will be matched by a local family for DOUBLE the impact.
Thank you for supporting my volunteer work, and for helping CASA advocate for more kids who need us!
