On Saturday, August 4th, I will be running 16 Miles across the island of Nantucket to help make a positive impact on the Nantucket community. I am running for two reasons: 1) To take action and set a positive example for today’s youth 2) To raise funds to combat childhood obesity and inactivity. All the the money raised will go towards the funding of FREE kids and family fitness programs on Nantucket.
On Sunday, August 12th, from 3-4pm, Carpe Vita Inc. is teaming up with the Nantucket Health Club and Power Systems Equipment to have ,Carpe Nantucket, a FREE kids and family fitness event open to the entire Nantucket community. There will be fun fitness activities for all ages and fitness levels that promote healthy active living. All of money raised goes towards the purchase of equipment and additional programming costs. Our goal is to raise $25,000....ever little bit counts and any donation is greatly appreciated. With every tax deductible donation that is made, you will receive a CARPE t-shirt and will be an official member of Team CARPE. **I only ask that you wear the shirt with pride and exemplify the values of Carpe Vita Inc.: Work Hard, Lead by Example, and “Seize Life”...Carpe Vita.
Thank you very much for your time and support.
Carpe,
Lauren Sposito Truono
