Carmelo is a young homeless puppy rescued from the streets of Guatemala with an exposed fracture. Likely he was hit by a car and left to fend for himself on the streets. He’s only one year old.
He was assisted immediately and unfortunately vet evaluation confirmed it was too late to save the leg and it had to be amputated. He already underwent surgery and is recovering. He is an amazing and beautiful dog but a bit shy and fearful and he is working on that as well. He’s a warrior and deserves a chance to a new life free from debt and suffering.
We are fundraising to help him start a new life free from suffering and debt. His vet bill including amputation surgery, hospitalization, medications and vaccines amount to $575. Please consider making a small donation today to offer Camelo a new life.
