After a year long break from running, I am back training harder than ever. To keep me motivated I am doing 2 things:
1) I have signed up for 5 races over the next 9 months:
September 8th - Santa Monica Classic 10K
November 3rd - Malibu 1/2 Marathon
January 19th - Pasadena 1/2 Marathon
March 8th - L.A. Marathon
May 24th - Mountains 2 Beach Marathon
2) I want to raise as much money as possible for a charity that focuses on other aspects of the fight against cancer other than finding the cure.
Fuck Cancer works on prevention, early detection and psychosocial support.
