Cancer Support Community Central NJ (CSCCNJ) provides psychosocial services, at no charge, to individuals and familes impacted by cancer. So that no one faces cancer alone. Our evidence-based programs cover areas such as Health & Wellness, Nutrition, Education, and Support Groups.
There is a lack of support for children and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Our services, offered at no charge, teach parents and children how to cope with the diagnosis in a safe space.

"Shortly after our family moved to the Bedminster area, we were referred to this Support Center by my oncologist. And since our first visit, this place has stayed as a meaningful part of our life. Most grateful are the various benefits it provided to my eleven-year-old son. Events such as Mini Chef and Movie Night have been a must-go, and he enjoyed spending time with other kids during those holiday celebrations.
After the incredible eight-week long 'Small Talk' program, my son no longer sees himself as a "special child" as the way he often felt at school; he can now stay calm and not fearful of the word 'cancer', and is supporting me with a more positive and optimistic attitude. For me the cancer patient, I have received numerous suggestions/tips from the staff here as well as from other patients I met. Katherine and Jesse have sat down with me over and over to get to know me at very personal level, and have given me invaluable advice.
