In ONE WEEK, I'll be supporting WeSPARK for their Annual run to help raise funds to support cancer patients and their families. My mother died of cancer when I was young. Her sister had it and survived. My aunt had it in her 70's, fought and survived, My grandmother lost her sisters, all before 40. My stepsister had multiple occurences of breast cancer. Last year I lost my cousin Patty.
The list goes on, with too many friends and family affected to mention them all. It's a bitter disease. What better to do than to help support those in need. I support weSPARK Cancer Support Center, a charity that offers FREE services to men, women and children affected by cancer. WeSPARK has helped thousands of survivors, families and friends and and continues to welcome hundreds of new guests every year.
I first became aware of WeSpark through its Executive Director, my client and friend, Nancy Allen I have personally referred many people to weSPARK for help and advice since then. I have seen testimonials from so many people who had no place to turn for help dealing with their illness and advice on what to do. It's truly miraculous to watch a group of 10 year olds getting healthier as they openly discuss the loss of a mom or dad with other kids in the same situation. A tear jerker in both sadness and joy.
This charity is a magical place and very dear to me. It helps thousand and thousands for free every year and makes their lives a better place.
I am asking everyone in my database to consider making a donation to support my cause. Anything will help, from $10 to $1,000 and please only give if you can and at the level of your own comfort….I promise it will make a direct difference in the quality of life for someone affected by cancer.
