Greetings! Victory Transformation in Oswego is seeking urgent help. We are seeking funds to bid on a new home for our ministry at auction. The auction is August 6 and 7th. Your donation will help us to get into a new home. If you have been down to Victory in the past two years than you know how needed this is. It will allow us to have our pastoral counseling center, meet greater critical needs, save money and create a Christian Center that would be a partnership with other ministries such as Bridge to Hope Victory helps people who are homeless in our community. We operate two homeless houses and we also help with critical needs. We stayed open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help our community stay safe during the first three months of Covid-19. Other critical needs we serve is to help people get on their feet. We are a "hands-up" organizaiton that help people to get jobs, get vehicles, get housing, furniture and household items. In our homeless housing we average a 50% success rate of not just getting people into housing but helping them to maintain housing and have the skills to take care of themselves and their families long term. Victory is a family and community. Once you are a member of our community you are a member for life. This means that anyone we help not only has the opportunity to help others but we are a natural support for life for all of our community members! What's more, most of our volunteers are people giving back because we helped and loved.
The money we are requesting is because we need 20% at the time of auction when we win the bid. It is so important for us to win this because we can not afford to rent a place like this. If we get more it may help us to bid a bit higher.
Victory is a 501 (c) (3) non profit ministry. We would be happy to share more information with you if you call or wish to visit. If you make a donation and we do not win the bid, we will give you your money back. We feel that God is making away for us to have this facility and are reaching out in faith to all of you. In faith, we are seeking your help and support.
