Summer Day Camp: $235 provides 1 week of Day Camp Day camp at the Y helps kids form new friendships, strengthen confidence and sharpen character. The Y is also working to close the achievement gap and reverse the trend of summer learning loss throughout Metro Detroit by including educational programs into all of our summer day camps. However, not all children have access to enriching summer experiences. The Y raises funds so everyone, regardless of income or background, has the ability to learn, grow and thrive at camp.
Overnight Camp: $523 provides 1 week of Overnight Camp Overnight camp helps youth unplug and discover the world around them. Campers gain independence, make friends, challenge their limits, explore the natural world, and create lifelong habits of healthy living. At camp there are towers to climb, slides to ride, roaring campfires to gather around, and memories to be made, all under the supervision of caring, enthusiastic staff hailing from all over the world.
Outdoor Education: $141 provides a 3 day Outdoor Ed program At camp kids learn to try new things, face challenges, build character and establish lifelong friendships. Outdoor education at camp adds a bonus by combining natural science, team building and outdoor adventure. The natural beauty of our local ecosystems serves as a great outdoor classroom. The Y raises funds so everyone, regardless of income or background, has access to this interactive learning environment.
