Usually, the first Thursday of November, Calvert City United Methodist Church, hosts the Calvert/Sharpe Family Resource Center Spaghetti Dinner to help raise funds to support the Family Resource Center Christmas Project. Well...like everything else in the world, the pandemic forces us to change our approach. But we are not worried, because the Marshall County community is often VERY generous to support worthwhile causes such as this.
Crystal Byers, director of the Calvert/Sharpe Family Resource Center, believes demand for christmas assistance will be greater this year due to the pandemic. The Center normally provides clothes and toys for each child requesting assistance.
Calvert Methodist Church, along with the Calvert Lions Club, Lake Chem Federal Credit Union, and others invite you to help launch this...even if we CAN'T enjoy the traditional spaghetti dinner as part of the fundraiser.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the children of Calvert and Sharpe Family Resource Centers. We invite individuals and businesses to give generously to this worthwhile cause.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
100% of donations will be given to the Calvert/Sharpe Family Resource Center.
