It is with pride I share with you my support of the American Cancer Society as a volunteer and committee member for their signature food and wine fundraiser – California Spirit 33. Through the leadership of my fellow volunteers on the sponsorship committee, it is our goal to raise $10,000 in donations before the event .
While most people know ACS for their vital research work, the organization does so much more, attacking cancer from every angle. They promote healthy lifestyles to prevent cancer. Their research funding funds the best science, leading to more answers, breakthroughs and better treatments. They fight for lifesaving policy changes at every level. They provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer through the cancer helpline and website. And they do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Approaching its remarkable 33rd year, the event, benefitting the American Cancer Society, has raised more than $15 million towards the fight for a world without cancer. This special day presents renowned chefs from Los Angeles’ best restaurants preparing their finest culinary creations, wine makers from California’s premier wineries, and unique creations from LA’s top mixologists, all coming together for a delicious and impactful day supporting The American Cancer Society.
