Cain Brothers, a preeminent Healthcare-focused investment bank, has launched a campaign to raise money for organizations impacted by the current healthcare and economic crisis. Our goal is to raise awareness and collectively foster support to those in need during these unprecedented times. Any contribution is greatly appreciated as we come together to help our most vulnerable neighbors.
As a part of our firm-wide charity challenge, our Managing Directors have generously pledged $70,000 to a pool that will benefit these organizations. This pool will provide bonus contributions to the teams that raise the most money, attract the most donors, and engage in exceptional volunteerism to further incentivize outstanding joint effort. All other Cain Brothers employees will be donating directly to their team’s charity, whereby KeyBank will be providing multiple matches to enhance the impact of our giving.
Our team (the best team!) is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Project Open Hand, a non-profit organization that provides meals with love to critically ill neighbors and seniors in San Francisco and Oakland. Their mission is to improve overall health outcomes and the quality of life by providing nutritious meals to the sick and vulnerable while caring for and educating the community. Each day, Project Open Hand prepares 2,500 nutritious meals and provides 200 bags of healthy groceries to help sustain their clients as they battle serious illnesses, isolation, or the health challenges of aging. With only 125 volunteers, Project Open Hand has already generated tremendous positive benefit for their community and with our help can touch even more lives.
All of us have been affected in ways we never expected by COVID-19. Help us help those in need, and together we will all make it through this frightening and disorienting time.
