Our Story

Founded by the Chicago Aldermanic Black Caucus, the Chicago Aldermanic Black Caucus Foundation (CABCF) was created to support higher education for Chicago’s Black youth through its annual scholarship program.

Twelve months ago we could never have imagined the damage Covid-19 would have done to our community, the worldwide outpouring after the murder of George Floyd, and the election of the first Black woman Vice President of the United States. We also would have hardly guessed that our state would move forward boldly to address inequities in the criminal justice system while at the same time elevating the first Black Speaker of the House in Illinois's history.

Please join us for a special event in support of the Chicago Aldermanic Black Caucus Foundation on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 to raise funds to provide scholarships for Chicago's Black youth and get together to discuss such an unbelievable past year.
