In June, 15 students from Hanover, NH, Norwich, VT and Sharon, VT will travel to Puerto Rico to rescue stray dogs, rebuild facilities to house stray dogs while they're vetted and await adoption and meet with local rescue groups on the island to learn about issues of animal abandonment and overpopulation. Three volunteers and one chaperone are running the Burlington Marathon to raise money for building supplies and transportation for rescued dogs. All money raised in this campaign will be generously matched by Positive Tracks, a Hanover based non-profit that has agreed to partner with us on this effort. Thank you for considering a donation and thank you to Positive Tracks for your support!
