This awesome organization does what their name says: building minds, by building schools, in South Sudean, the world's youngest country.
Founded by two cousins who were made refugees when war broke out at age 9, BMISS has built the largest primary school in the country, as well as the first girls' school, run by the first woman principal in the country. A high school is set to open in Feb 2020.
The impact is profound: kids get an education, girls are empowered, the lives of these young people are changed, and the community and country move forward.
To support this great cause, I'll be joining a team of colleagues and friends to run 200ish miles through the historic Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
Thank you for your support!
