Within the country of Burkina Faso, many villages lack easy access to clean water, and people are forced to use unhealthy water or travel in search of clean water. These people, many of them children, are in need of help and would benefit greatly from access to clean water.
In an effort to help the people of Burkina Faso, The Students In Action team of Darul Arqam School wishes to build a well that would benefit a village and bring fresh, clean water to its residents. The village in question is about 160 kilometers away from Ouagadougou. Over 500 people will benefit from the building of the well, many of them schoolchildren. Any donation is appreciated, and meeting the goal would pay for the building of the well in this small village. Even if the impact seems small, to the residents of this village, the building of a well would make a world of a difference, and would be a step in solving the problem of lack of clean water in Burkina Faso and around the world.
All money will be used to purchase supplies and fund the building of the well.
Thank You for donating!
