The goal of this project is to address the need created by the increase in population under the age of 24 in the city of Kinzawu-Vuete, province of Kongo Central where schools are crowded, the number of students in a classroom is unmanageable and the quality of education is at the lower end of the spectrum . The DRC’s population has been growing at a faster rate going from 13.5 million in 1958 to 21.6 million in 1970 . And, in 1984, the population reached 30.7 million people making it one of the most populous countries in Africa. The population of D.R. Congo is estimated at 86.7 million people. With youth under the age of 24 making up 65.8% of the population, the need to build new schools and upgrade curriculum is paramount. We are asking for your support. Please donate to this fund to help the youth of D.R. Congo.
